Well to be sure ask for origional recipt from him i cant tell you 100% unless he has proof of purchase from a canadian or american dealer such as bestbuy or direct from monster

The poor packaging and on the tours the silver around b is too bright and if tye earbuds came in 2 bags or a small bag there fake for for proof ask him for origional recipt
